Vojvodina, 1991. A Croatian civilian POW named Ivan manages to escape a Serbian prison camp. Finding nowhere else to go, he spends the night on a seemingly wealthy plot of land. The next morning, he's discovered by its owner, a Serb named Stevan, who offers him two choices. Either Ivan stays and does Stevan's dirty work, or he surrenders him to Serbian paramilitary authorities. During his stay he meets Ana, Stevan's daughter-in-law, whose trapped in a loveless marriage with his violent son Dušan, whose currently situated on the frontlines somewhere in Croatia. Finding company in each other's sorrow, the two Croats slowly begin to fall in love.

Vigo lives a life he hates. He spends all day slaving away at a warehouse, having to put up with impossible demands from his higher ups and colleagues he hates. When the workday is finally over, he has to pay the bills, deal with increasing debts and provide a somewhat normal life for his younger sister and his girlfriend, the relationship with which grows more strained and opressive as time goes on. The US Army has decided to modernize its cavalry, so Colonel James E. Devers is ordered by a general to convert a horse unit to motorcycles, but his men are easily outclassed as riders by a pack of rowdies, especially Grady Westfall; when he is arrested risking a long jail term, he's given one way out: enlisting as Corporal, assigned as driving instructor. Unit commander Captain Jack Hassler reviles his unorthodox boyish methods as undermining discipline and tradition, not to mention flirting with the Colonels daughter Beryl Ann, but he's needed, especially when his unit is deployed on a secret mission in Spain.
Three men decide to rob a wealthy manor, however, the situation gradually begins to turn against them.

Nazi-occupied Croatia, 1941. A young university student named Matija Remenar moves from his small provincial town to Zagreb. During his stay, he notices a beautiful woman in the window across the street from his apartment, falling head over heals for her. He names this woman Nausicaa, after the eponymous character from Homer's Odyssey. Things complicate, however, when he becomes involved in an active suicide investigation of the three tennants who had rented the apartment prior to him. Not only that, but the apartment's original owner, middle-aged mrs. Šlajner, seemingly becomes infatuated with him, despite the huge age gap.
The series follows the capture of the inserted Ustashas during Operation Guardian in 1947-1948.

US soldier gets involved in Cold War shenanigans in East Germany.
After returning from the Eastern Front to their small Croatian village as veterans of the First World War, Jovan Stanisavljević (nicknamed Čaruga) and his comrade known only as Mali join forces with the gang led by a local bandit and communist revolutionary Boža The Red. After Boža is brutally murdered by law enforcement officials, Čaruga takes over as the gang's leader, turning them into a bloodthirsty troop that won't take no for an answer.
The story begins in a small rural village in Ladimirevci, Eastern Croatia in 1943, where a land owner Sima is helping the Partisan Movement and the official Ustasha regime in order to save the life of his son Beneš, who is enlisted in the German army. Sima doesn't want to let his son fight for the wrong side any more, and doesn't want to give him to the Partisans either, so he hides him in his attic for the time being. The story is interwoven with episodes of Sima trying to muster a beautiful stallion - Sokol - who only answers to his son Beneš and clearly doesn't like his old man.

Franka turned twenty and moves out from her parents’ home due to feuds with her domineering fa-ther. She goes to the apartment inherited from her grandmother, where she runs into illegal occupant and law student Ante. Instead of throwing him out, Franka lets Ante stay for a few days. What starts as a romance, soon turns to a nightmare that, coupled with a newly struck friendship with a troubled co-worker Stela not only tests Franka’s character, but also helps her to realise what she wants out of life.
