Crossbow follows the adventures of William Tell and takes place in the 14th-century in Switzerland. William Tell and his son are imprisoned by the tyrannical Gessler. As Governor of Austria, Gessler plans to stop the Swiss uprising. Having split the apple on his son's head with his crossbow, much to Gessler's chagrin, there is no stopping William Tell's legendary strength and skill.

A family of Brussels concierges, whose employers have left for the summer, decide to swap their home for a magnificent villa in the south of France for the holidays. However, upon arriving on the island, they discover that all the surrounding beaches are exclusively for naturists.

A young man, Eliot, comes back in his childhood district with the aim of preparing a movie for the Film School's admission exams. He meets up with Florence, a girl he hasn't seen for years. Together they recall the days when Eliot lived to the full thanks only to the super 8 camera his understanding father had offered him, sweeping along in his cinematographic adventures his best friend Maxime, who is wholly different from him and so lively, as well as Florence, whom he secretly had fallen for. The discord will soon lead to competition between the two boys until the day Eliot gets humiliated and changes his film roles in order to gain Florence's favors. But nothing runs as expected.

22-year-old Alexander is studying at a music college and arrives to his last rehearsal before the final competition. With the help of his teacher, he seeks to remember the reasons he chose his particular instrument—the cello—and his memory reverts to a day in his youth when he gave his last concert as a young chorister.
