Vende-se um VĂ©u de Noiva is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by SBT from June 16, 2009, to January 9, 2010. It is based on the radio serial of the same name written by Janete Clair, which was also adapted into the 1969 telenovela VĂ©u de Noiva by TV Globo. Created and adapted by ĂŤris Abravanel, with collaboration from Jaqueline Vargas and Yoya Wursch, and directed by Del Rangel, the telenovela stars Day Mesquita, Daniel Alvim, Elaine Cristina, Marcos Winter, ThaĂs Pacholek, and ZĂ© Carlos Machado. The story follows Maria CĂ©lia and Rubens Baronese, a couple whose lives are changed by a tragic conspiracy involving Maria's cousin Eunice, who plans to take away their newborn child. Years later, the consequences of this crime affect their families, revealing secrets, betrayals, ambition, and the struggle for truth, justice, and reconciliation.
