Biography

As a professional actor for 25+ years, Carla Brothers has starred in films such as The Five Heartbeats and 10,000 Men Named George for Showtime. On television she has done guest spots on Cosby, Third Watch, Guiding Light, Miami Vice, and One Life To Live. On Broadway she starred in the hit a capella musical, Sheila's Day, receiving international accolades. Off- Broadway venues include The Manhattan Theatre Club, New Federal Theatre and The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival. Ms. Brothers is writing both the book and score for a new original musical.
