Live, Vol. Four was recorded at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC on December 31, 2014. Many of the tracks feature Valient Himself of the North Carolinian band Valient Thorr as Father Time.

The Avett Brothers are an American folk rock band from North Carolina. The band is made up of two brothers, Scott Avett and Seth Avett, as well as Bob Crawford (double bass) and Joe Kwon (cello). Mike Marsh (drums), Tania Elizabeth (violin) and Paul Defiglia (keyboard) are touring members of the band, with Kwon featured on recordings from 2007's Emotionalism and later. The film chronicles the pursuit of an artistic life; and all the trials, the tribulations, the ups and downs, the luck and serendipity, the disappointments and frustrations that come along with it. Clem Snide’s story embodies a “lower-case-s” spirituality in a universal way. The film documents the touring and promotion of the album Forever Just Beyond. Released on March 29, 2020, the record’s unveiling occurred at the precise moment of the first COVID-19 outbreak across the country. Forever Just Beyond was produced by Scott Avett of The Avett Brothers, who features in the film.

On July 7, 2019, they celebrated their sixth consecutive year of sold-out concerts at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, the world’s only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater, located just outside of Denver.
