Born in Missouri, Doug directed his first feature 'The Sky Has Fallen' in the US when he was 22 years old then he made his second feature in Shanghai, China, and his third feature 'Bakemono' in Tokyo, Japan. He also directed 22 short films and has over 70 producer credits.
