A movie about summer, youth, the difficulty of love, and a camping trip to the countryside by four young people from Helsinki.

On a road trip across Finland, Jari stops in a small town where he meets Marja. The young people continue their journey together all the way to Haaparanta, until a police raid reveals that Jari's car is stolen. Their escape takes them even further north, where they team up with a gold miner.

Depicting the Finnish Civil War from the White army's point of view. Lieutenant Melin's soldiers mission is to penetrate the heart of the city and overtake the Nasilinna Palace from the Reds.
