El cor de la ciutat is a TVC television soap opera first broadcast on TV3 on 11 September 2000 and last broadcast on 23 December 2009. "Moebius" is an investigative thriller that does not include police around a case that affects a student at the highschool of La Farga, a seemingly quiet village in inland Catalonia. Mamen, the new math teacher, begins an investigation on her own that will bring to light some secrets long buried in the village.

A family seen at two different periods, some 40 years having passed between the two. A dysfunctional family marked by what used to be called an ugly illness, cancer and death. The characters quarrel, hate each other, and refuse to accept in their predecessors what they will eventually, inevitably repeat in themselves. A family marked by relations of rejection, love and hate of the other, the upstairs neighbors, those strangers from a far-off land, Andalusia in the 1960s, Morocco at present, who will also form part of this repetitive game that is life. To what point is everything a metaphor or symbol of our society? Are we really strangers to ourselves?

On the day that a benefit concert for Darfur takes place in Barcelona, the inhabitants of this city are chiefly occupied with themselves. A short-tempered guy curses everyone crossing his path. A little later, we see him at work as a living statue. Meekly, he poses for a picture with a tourist. A thief robs her purse and runs through the alleys. On a scooter, the purse is taken to a suspicious-looking character, who is primarily interested in a concert ticket he finds . After these people, we follow countless other characters. We follow them for a few streets or catch snippets of conversations. Sometimes the topic is Darfur, but usually the urbanites are engaged in their daily worries.

Three Days with the Family deals with the relationship between three brothers and one sister, and with their wives and children, whose father has just died. They don't see each other often, and their different opinions about common problems soon become a problem itself.
