At the age of 25, Hauge had an experience of God that changed both him and the whole of Norway. Through preaching, writing and publishing their own books, business start-ups, by hiring both the mentally and physically ill, and exalting the women as both preachers and business leaders. Hauge stood in the breeze for a Norway that did not fall into good soil with the State, which in turn brought life to the Convict Poster to prevent Hauge from spreading the message of equality for all. The price was high, but Hauge and his successors left indelible traces in modern Norway.

Orphan Kamilla moves in with her rich uncle who lives in Kristiansand, Norway in the early 1900s. Her uncle’s wife, however, does not approve of Kamilla and wants to send her to a boarding school in Denmark. Her uncle, instead, decides to send her to his sister who lives in the countryside. On her way there, she meets Sebastian, who is a good-hearted thief who wants to turn his life around. An adaptation from a Norwegian children's novel by Kari Vinje.

In the 1890s, 10-year-old Yohan is sent away from home to survive on his own as a child laborer. He experiences hardships and overcomes his fears by relying on bravery and hope to make the best of his circumstances.

Kamilla and the Thief - Part 2 continues where the first Kamilla movie ends. Sebastian going to jail, but Kamilla did not fail his friend, even if she refused to have contact with him and is bullied because she is "a friend of a thief." Kamilla is the only one who believes in Sebastian when he says that he will not steal. Can Sebastian to keep that promise? Kamilla is faithful - but is it enough?
