The road movie centers on Mehmet, the youngest child of a conservative family. Living in a reactionary and oppressive family, Mehmet's life is shaped by the activities of the fundamentalist circle he belongs to. Mehmet's feelings for Firdevs, who works at the pharmacy next door, add to the contradictions he faces as he begins to live according to the hypocritical and oppressive values of this environment, and the conflict takes on a different dimension. What follows is Mehmet's struggle for "humanity" as he is unable to chart a course for his life in line with his beliefs and tries to resolve his contradictions through different pursuits. Mehmet's story reveals how the network that today confronts us worldwide as "jihadist terrorism" was organized right under our noses. It undertakes to explain how this terrorist machine was nourished by a reactionary network and the irreconcilable contradiction between this network and "humanity."

A group of friends who grew up in the same neighborhood find it difficult to live where they were born and raised due to rising rents caused by the interest of wealthy people in their neighborhood. After all of their neighbors are forced to leave the neighborhood one by one, the final straw comes when Latif, one of the most beloved residents of the neighborhood, is evicted from his home by his landlord. Determined to transform their neighborhood back into a place where working-class people and ordinary folks could live, the residents rolled up their sleeves to stop the destruction of both their neighborhood and their past. What initially seemed like an easy plan ended up dragging them into an unexpected and hilarious adventure.

Claiming to comprehensively address its subject matter with contributions from numerous experts, the film 'Red!' does not shy away from examining RedHack—undoubtedly the most prominent group in Turkey when it comes to cyber activism—and its actions from different angles.
