In 2010, security cameras snapped 19-year-old Iwona Wieczorek walking home from a nightclub — and then she vanished. The search for answers continues.

Barbara is 25 and lives in Accra, the capital of Ghana. As an eight-year-old girl, she shared the fate of thousands of Ghanaian children who were put to slave labour by their own parents. For years Barbara functioned in a world full of abuse, violence and fear but she survived. Although full of anger, she has been supporting her parents and pays for the family, but their expectations keep rising. One day, together with her eldest brother, Kweku, she returns to her hometown to solve some family problems. Before that can happen, Barbara has to finally confront her parents.

What are the reasons underlying the human drive toward self-destruction? What is the wellhead of motivation for a person who chooses a life involving perpetual struggle, self-harm and risking their health? Is the road of physical pain an escape route from other kinds of pain? And finally, what lies at the roots of the contemporary fascination with risk and aggression? "Arena" is a film project about contemporary games, arenas and gladiators.

The title character turns out to be as ruthless as himself as to the people on whose lives he preys. Paparazzi is a movie about lost world values and bold rules - but shows that we always have a chance to decide what kind of man we will be tomorrow.

As, with time, she starts getting back in balance, fate puts her to yet another tough test. Aga’s opportunity for a new beginning might be working with Ukrainian children who have fled to Poland to escape the war. Helping others makes it easier to understand your own problems, but how many times can you start life all over again?
