With recent shrinkage of pediatric care, pediatrician Aoyama Sora decides to stand up to the hospital management and reestablish the specialty.

In 1934 (Showa 9), Maj. Gen. Yamamoto Isoroku was ordered to be the chief representative of the preliminary negotiations for the Disarmament Conference to be held in London. If negotiations break down and Japan becomes isolated from the international community, the gap with Britain and the United States will deepen, and it may eventually become a war. Knowing the mighty national power of the United States and thinking that war should be avoided, Yamamoto is forced to make a tough decision with the speculation of senior military personnel who want to withdraw from the disarmament system and hope for a path to arms race. Under such circumstances, Yamamoto comes up with a secret plan!

Yuma Nakahara is the CEO of an IT company and he is a workaholic. He is focused only on expanding his company. He receives a phone call from his former co-worker and friend Kouhei, but Kouhei doesn't say anything. Yuma gets the sense that something is wrong and heads to Kouhei's hometown of Shinminato, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. In Shinminato, Yuma meets other people and becomes involved in the Shinminato Hikiyama Festival. His outlook on life begins to change.

Yu Kuroha, a female detective from the Kanagawa PD Mobile Unit, discovers bodies of fourteen men and women frozen to death in a rental container. When the wills of the dead persons were found, her boss decides to treat the case as a simple group suicide. But Kuroha persists that they have to find the leader who assisted this mass murder. She finds out that the number of wills outnumbers the bodies by one. One person did not commit suicide…! Kuroha is a skilled sniper but also a delicate woman who takes refuge in cyberspace. The drama portrays her gaining maturity as a person and a detective by solving the mystery of a group suicide by standing against the mastermind of the case.

Keisuke Miyahara oversleeps on the day of his entrance exam for Tokyo University. To postpone the exam starting time, Keisuke Miyahara sends an email to the school warning of a bomb. His plan works and he is able to take his exam and passes. On the day of his entrance ceremony, a man named Hiroshi Tanaka appears in front of Keisuke Miyahara and threatens him.
