Biography
Miss DuPont (April 28, 1894 – February 6, 1973) was an American film actress and fashion designer. Sometimes credited as Patty DuPont, Miss DuPont was born as Patricia Hannon in Frankfort, Kentucky, though sources sometimes state her place of birth as Frankfort, Indiana. She appeared as a wealthy and naive American woman seduced by Erich von Stroheim's odious count in Foolish Wives (1922). Although Stroheim is credited with discovering her, she had already made several films beginning in 1919 with The Day She Paid. Miss DuPont died in Palm Beach in 1973.

A Slave of Fashion

Resenting Rankin's attentions to his wife, Peter forbids her to go. However, Beth accompanies Rankin to spite her husband, and Rankin proposes that she divorce Peter and become his wife. A lost film.

To the dismay of Norah Blake, Lombardi's faithful assistant, who loves him, Lombardi proposes to Phyllis Manning, one of the showgirls, and presents her with his finest creations, while not even attempting to kiss her, as she puts off setting a wedding date and also accepts the attentions of wealthy bachelor Bob Tarrant.

An American pilot flying in Mexico crash-lands on a ranch, and is nursed back to health by the daughter of the ranch's owner. Unbeknownst to the pilot--who has lost his memory because of the crash--the girl has been praying for a husband, and believes that God has answered her prayers by sending him this handsome pilot. However, a local guerrilla leader has also had designs on the daughter, and comes up with a plan to get rid of his competition, make some money and win the girl in the bargain.
