Augusto Benedico (December 20, 1909 – January 19, 1992), born Augusto Pérez Lías, was a Mexican actor (and occasional writer) of Spanish origin. He is best known for his television roles as Don Alberto Salvatierra in Los ricos también lloran and as Don Fernando in Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish. In film, he appeared in The Exterminating Angel (1962) as Carlos Conde and in Pedro Páramo (1967) as Father Rentería He was born in Alicante, Spain, and died in Mexico City, Mexico.
