Adventures of Mowgli is an animated feature-length story originally released as five animated shorts of about 20 minutes each between 1967 and 1971 in the Soviet Union.

A touching story about a white Gordon Setter with black ear, who became homeless because of his master's illness. His master, Ivan Ivanovich, a man far from being young, fond of hunting and nature, took a puppy to live with him, despite the dog's black ear being a "shame of nature" to his breed. The man always took his dog, whom he called Bim or Bimka, to hunting in country. Later, however Ivan Ivanovich began to have problems with heart and when the disease became worse was taken to a hospital. His dog couldn't bear waiting for the only person that ever cared for him and set out to find his master. Thus began the story of a homeless dog and his many breathtaking and exciting adventures, encounters of many people, kind and evil, and leads to an unexpected and heart-rending end.

A fairy tale about animals, which tells how the desire to be useful to others helps to cope with vanity and anger. Four friends - Fly, Frog, Hedgehog and Cockerel found an old cart. The cart is ordinary, but the wheels are different. Sitting on the tree Magpie told the friends that the cart was made by the Bear, who did not finish and threw it, that's the cart and lying around. The friends were interested in the wheels, and they decided to take them home.

On the eve of the New Year, several children write a letter to Father Frost asking him to send them a Christmas tree for the holiday, and then they make a Snowman who should take the letter to the magic forest. When midnight arrives, under the beat of a clock, the Snowman comes to life and, together with a small yard puppy, nicknamed Druzhok, sets off in search of Father Frost. The film makes fun of incompetent hack composers who replace real creativity with an unabashed compilation. The goat-composer completes work on a new work, the theme of which is suggested by the Donkey and the Ram. The author's concert of the composer is preceded by the performance of the Gray Wolf-musicologist. He admires the creation of the venerable Goat-fool. But when the animal orchestra performs a slightly modified song "Once upon a time there was a gray goat fool", the audience begins to leave their seats…

Bear suffers from toothache. Other animals give him advice on how to cure a bad tooth, but their advice is ignorant.
