The good people of a small community in the countryside near Copenhagen enjoy life and find their way to love.

Yvonne and Rolf are getting married. Then Rolf meets Primula and falls in love with her. Primula is fired for being late, but discovers that she is the daughter of the director, whose other daughter, Yvonne, is actually going to marry Rolf. The wedding day arrives, but who will Rolf marry?

Niels Pind is a drunkard who is exploited by some of the town's residents. This comes to an end when his son, Jens, returns from America with a lot of money. Jens buys the local estate and starts extracting gravel from the ground. He quickly gains a bad reputation in the area because he only thinks about money. Niels Pind disowns his son. However, Jens changes as he falls more and more in love with Ingrid.

Two rival young men both desire the merchant's pretty daughter, a bad young man robs the merchant's safe and blames it on "mother-in-law's dream", a worldly-wise grandmother directs the battle of love from her living room, and a couple of silly railway workers spread song and joy.

The Royal privileged ferry inn in Hørby is owned and operated by the two good friends Erik Hansen and Lars Tofte. In addition to the inn they own the small ferry, which keeps them in touch with the mainland.

The priest in Solby borrows 2,000 kroons from the parish council treasury to pay for one of his parishioners' hospital stays in Germany. Marianne, the rich man's daughter, is to be a bridesmaid in Aalborg and is leaving Copenhagen for Jutland. In Solby, she drives too fast through the town, which is why she has a car accident and ends up in the priest's garden! She immediately starts to lead everyone around the rectory, which Aunt Marie is definitely not happy about. The priest, on the other hand, is attracted to the girl. They swim in the lake and go to a ball together, which leads to Mrs. Larsen coming in to talk to the bishop. After Marianne has returned to Copenhagen, the bishop announces his arrival at the rectory. Where will the priest now find the 2,000 kroons? The priest has a number of friends who are trying to help him, but he also receives unexpected help from the bishop.

Three girls (around 20 years old) who have grown up in different parts of Denmark get a strange letter. It turns out they are sisters, and will inherit from their late mother, if the can stay together one month in the same house. They end up in a lot of (romantic) trouble, because of speculations of who their father(s) might be.

A dangerous prison escaper, a young Jutland woman, and a bank clerk, who has just deprived his employer of some cash and is now headed abroad, meet on a lyntog (literally "lightning train") from Arhus to Copenhagen.

Tove Andersen's problem ends in Christianshavn's moat, and this is where the film begins. The body has a noose around its neck. The homicide division is called in, and it turns out that shortly before her death, she had undergone an illegal operation. An unscrupulous womanizer had abandoned the young student from the countryside when the relationship had consequences. The doctor rejects her after a beautiful lecture on the sanctity of life, and she must therefore rely on "private" help.

Anders returns to Denmark to visit his ill mom too late. Her lawyer tells him he's the illegitimate child of an estate owner. He goes there incognito and works on the big farm and falls for the maid and later for a gold digger.

A young, beautiful girl arrives at Krogerød Kro on Mols and shocks the innkeeper by telling him that he is her father. At the same time, the inn is about to lose its liquor license, threatening its very existence. The innkeeper tells the girl that both he and his friend from his military days have paid child support to her, as no one knew which of them was her real father.

When the modest butcher’s wife becomes a wealthy landowner, it immidiately goes to her head. With her new stuck-up attitude, she rejects the long-time butcher’s apprentice when he asks for her daughter’s hand in marriage. Fortunately, the poor butcher’s apprentice is friends with Pat and Patachon, who work in a circus and have experience with clownery. Together, they must fight fancy with silly, and ground the butcher’s wife’s aloofness, in the name of love! (Stumfilm.dk)

We follow two randomly selected destinies: two young girls whose data could have been taken straight from the police files, which contain so many human documents—many sad, but also many joyful, because a large proportion of those who were initially weak and frivolous are saved from the temptations of the big city.

Many people are preparing their lives for a lifetime, to make it safe and secure. And then the fate's game of 24 hours can overturn everything.

Karin Larsson and Douglas Hallencreutz has a somewhat peculiar relationship. They meet every Wednesday at Douglas. Karin is Douglas "Wednesday's friend." Otherwise, they live completely separate lives. This Wednesday they wake up together. Karin showers and leave Douglas fancy apartment at Strandvägen, Stockholm. She lives with her father, former captain Larsson. When Karin come home, Baltzar is at the door. Baltzar is a typical "guy" full of ideas, not always successful. It also turns out that Baltzar had a relationship with one of Karin's sisters.

Composer Jørgen Rhoders lives an easy life, at least according to his son Per. Per and his stepsister, Ulla, decide to give their father a little trouble so that his compositions will improve. However, Jørgen deceives the children, and only when the children cause their parents to fall out does the situation seem to improve. Meanwhile, Ulla believes that Per is in love with Lily.

The young Ms. Holm gets the job as private secretary to Director Berg and it quickly becomes clear that she is unusually active and enterprising. Ms. Kirkemus, as Berg has named her, brings life to the entire office and a business trip to Stockholm, where half the staff participates, becomes no less festive thanks to her. But Ms. Kirkemus has fallen in love with her director and it doesn't really suit her that Berg is meeting another girl in Stockholm and then the antics get even more intense...

First mate Knud Karlsen has just received sad news from his girlfriend. On board the ship is also chef Valdemar, sailor Ole, owner's confident son Robert and a whole bunch of eager sailors. On board develops the drama out every minute, culminating in the film's climax, when a fire breaks out on board

This film follows two men, the plain Herkules (Ib Schønberg) and the rich Erik (Angelo Bruun). When they were boys, Erik defended his good friend Herkules. And he never forgot that fact. They stay up for each other, no matter that Erik gambles his money away, or what ever happens to Herkules.

The small, diligent chorus girl Dolly Hansen is engaged at one of the city's big revue theaters, and one evening she has to step in and double for the prima donna who has called in sick. She is successful, and this gives her the courage to ask the director for a small salary increase. However, this is taken very unkindly, and such a heated discussion arises between them that the young girl suddenly finds herself in the street, fired on grey paper. But Dolly is not the type to give up. Untraditional self-centeredness soon creates a lot of attention around her.
