Because of his title and wealth, Poppea decides to marry the prince, while keeping Drake as a lover. But the prince eventually discovers what she's up to and goes out of his way to catch the adulterers together. He takes two glasses of wine, pours arsenic into one, and tells Poppea to choose which glass each man will drink. She innocently picks the poisoned glass for Drake and he dies horribly. The prince disposes of the body and drives Poppea out into the desert.

When her newspaper reporter brother is taken ill, a young woman takes over his job. Before she knows it, she's involved up to her neck in a plot involving stolen jewelry and a very agile monkey.

This is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Jerry Warner (Barnes) and Edith Somers (Breamer) are in love, but her father Judge Somers (Marshall) will not allow them to marry because he sees Jerry as a poor prospect. When Jerry's uncle sends him ten thousand dollars to set up a business Judge Somers tells him if he has that money at the end of six months, he can marry Edith. After several close calls all turns out all right for the lovebirds.

On their honeymoon Vivian twice finds Perry in the arms of other women. Though Perry claims he was simply catching one who slipped, Vivian decides to teach him a lesson in fidelity. She begins aggressively flirting with every man she encounters, including a Scotsman, to make Perry jealous. To get back at her, Perry stages his own death in a plane crash, but when Vivian discovers the plane crash was a hoax, she is initially even more enraged. However, after a series of further misadventures, the couple eventually reconciles.

Young Dick is pursuing pretty young Mary, but so are a lot of other young men. Dick decides to impersonate her butler and uses that position to keep all of Mary's suitors out of the house so he can work on her himself. When his ruse is discovered, he is thrown out of the house. That, however, doesn't stop him. He gets the maid to help him concoct a story about Mary actually being bald and having false teeth, hoping to drive them away. It works, but it doesn't quite have the effect he intended it to.

Henry Williams, out in Arizona looking for a cure for his imaginary ills, stops at the ranch of Jud Morgan, and decides to stay. Jud's daughter, Sally, attracts his attention, although she is engaged to be married to Sheriff Bob Wells. Henry rides with her to town, where she wants to go shopping for her wedding clothes, but they run out of gas. No, problem' Henry holds up a passing motorist, with a monkey-wrench, and takes gasoline out of his car. They stop at a ranch where the foreman makes them become the cook and dishwasher. Then Jerome Underwood and his daughter, Harriet, arrive and they recognize Henry and Sally as the ones who held them up for gas. The jealous sheriff adds to the complications.

After Felix Valle helps rescue next door neighbor Dorothy Devore's dog from the over-zealous dog catcher, she agrees to help him get a raise in salary by pretending to be his wife. Meanwhile, her jealous husband is bringing home Felix' boss for a deal...

Gordon Elliott, a student at one of the big universities, is unable to make the football team until his senior year. He is then awarded a position at center because of his superior method of passing the ball, though his lightness is against him. He overhears the head coach say that Dick Blackwood would make a better center if only he could master the pass. In his loyalty to the college Elliott teaches Blackwood the pass, thereby eliminating himself, not merely from the team, but also, as he supposes, from the possibility of winning Marjorie Burgess, who has commanded him to return for his answer after he has played his first big game.

Tarzan spurns the love of La, Queen of Opar. When he isn't trying to keep the Bolshevik Rokoff and Clayton (pretender to the Greystoke estate) from reaching Opar, he is attacked simultaneously by two lions, dropped into a pit when a volcano splits the ground, nearly sacrificed by sun worshipers, and so on.

Jimmie, an oil stock salesman, is roughly handled by a couple of shrewd promoters who have stolen a well from a poor girl. The latter saves our hero, who in turn gets the well back for her.
