The Plot: The sketch followed Bud Abbott and Lou Costello into a spooky Universal prop storage room, which was filled with props from their previous monster movies, including Dracula, the Invisible Man, and Frankenstein's Monster. The Appearance: At the end of the sketch, Lou Costello encounters the "Gill-man" (the Creature). The Actor: Ben Chapman, who played the Creature in the film's on-land sequences, reprised his role for the sketch. Not a Movie: While often referenced alongside their "Meet the Monsters" films (Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Mummy), this encounter was strictly a TV sketch.
