Kazuki Suzumoto is divorced and he lives with his 15-year-old son Kouki. Kouki is in a susceptible time. The father feels guilty about his son. Kouki then fails his high school entrance exam. In the spring of the following year, Kouki barely passes his high school entrance exam. Kouki mentions to Kazuki that he likes his father's lunch box. The father and son make a promise to each other. Kazuki promises that he will make a lunch box everyday for Kouki. Kouki promises that he will never skip school.

Chieko Sato lives in the seaside town of Ishinomaki where she was born and raised. She has lived a happy life with her fisherman husband and 2 children. Her life changed after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. Her husband has not come back since that day and the lives of her two children have been damaged. Do Hyun once lived in Ishinomaki, but he went back to South Korea. He returns to the seaside town and tells Chieko Sato something about her husband that she did not know.

After the cult was destroyed, the members dispersed and only the rumour of a vast fortune on the cult grounds is whispered in the underworld. The two of them eventually team up to solve all sorts of issues. They get involved in a fight between the former Mushikago no Niwa members that went through human experiments and the people of the underworld over the assets and mystery of the cult.
The plot is a continuation of the first installment. After Jundao enters the company where Akashi is located, the two secretly establish a romantic relationship, but the work is not smooth, which has brought a challenge to their relationship.
