At the end of the 50s, after assassinating the legendary capo Goncalves and dividing their domains, Ventura and Otálora, rival and old friends, fight with their bands for the control of prostitution and contraband. Anabel, Ventura's favorite prostitute and her young lover, will live their passion among the violence that surrounds the port city.

Jacobo is a young sculptor that returns to native city, Santiago of Compostela, to see his mother, locked up a psychiatric hospital for to kill to her husband, when he believed she dead years ago. To their arrival, visions of Mateo, his dead father eighteen years ago, begin to persecute to him, since his father died by shot gun, peculiarly, when thirteen peals sounded in the cathedral, fact what obsesses to Jacobo. After watching several times, Mateo convinces his son to make the work for the cathedral that his father couldn't finish in life, but what begins as a simple work becomes a madness spiral when Jacobo discovers the true intentions of the ghost of his father: to kill to his son to usurp his body to finish the statue, and after to return to the life.

Two strangers flee from their past and settle in an urbanization on the Cádiz coast. There, hundreds of kilometers from Madrid, they try to rebuild their lives, even though the memories are still very strong.

The documentary tells how, during the 1980s, a cultural phenomenon emerged and developed in Galicia that would eventually become known as the Movida Gallega.

Mario and Berto are brothers and they live in Galicia at the “Finis Terrae”. Their father left them when they were children and they grew up with the idea of finding him someday, without knowing that they were the ones separating from each other. Among the shadows of the darkest streets, there are bodies that dance and others that wound each other. In this piece, Villaverde intertwines these two nocturnal worlds, populated by fights, death, and trouble, as if in a dance. Tacón is based on a text by Jorge Luis Borges that reflects on tango and, with the poetry of its words, traces a reflection on the passage of time and death. Borges gave several lectures on tango in his native Buenos Aires. The genre fascinated him, as it was a portal to the dark and violent Buenos Aires that had so inspired his verses and prose. A prevailing darkness and tension pervade the visual vision of Tacón, accentuated, also, by the music of the Argentinian Astor Piazzolla.

From a cloudy sky, a storm erupts, and to the music, a girl gazes at the book of the Great Galician Encyclopedia, transformed into the book of a cannibalistic Galicia that begins with its festivals, the Franco regime, devotion to the saint, and the negotiated transition until the arrival of La Movida.

Octopus, a few bottles of Ribeiro wine, ambient sound, and hyper-design. In the immediate future, the boundaries between reality and virtuality will be blurred; crossing the screen could mean falling prey to a monster. Or, as it was presented in 1984: “A girl, a boy, desolate spaces, Magritte, King Kong. It could happen to you tomorrow. Subtle New York touches in the look. This girl is… Pure Poison!” A nightmare about the loneliness of everyday life in the cyberworld.

This ironic mix of thriller, slapstick, and family funeral drama prioritizes building a story around the music. The film depicts an abusive marriage culminating in murder, and the complicit children's actions only exacerbate the situation. As the saying goes, "raise crows and they'll peck your eyes out."

The film explores the abrupt transition between tradition and innovation within the context of carnival. In this work, Xavier Villaverde creates a video narrative about the rapid shifts in the Hispanic mindset during the 1980s, intuitively foreshadowing the new virtual theater of appearances.
