K-1 World Grand Prix 2002 Final was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1. The event was held at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday, December 7, 2002 in front of 74,500 spectators. It was the tenth K-1 World Grand Prix final, involving ten of the world's top fighters (two being reservists), with all bouts fought under K-1 Rules (100 kg/156-220 lbs). The eight finalists had almost all qualified via preliminary events, while two additional fighters were invited as reserve fighters (for more detail on this see bulleted list below). In total there were ten fighters at the event, representing eight countries.

UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen was a mixed martial arts event held on August 17, 2013, at the TD Garden in Boston. The main event was contested between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Maurício Rua and Chael Sonnen.

UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on November 19, 2011 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.

UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans was a mixed martial arts event held by Ultimate Fighting Championship on April 21, 2012 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The headline fight at UFC 145 was a UFC Light Heavyweight Championship contest between champion Jon Jones and challenger Rashad Evans. Jones and Evans are former teammates at Jackson's MMA, under the tutelage of coach Greg Jackson.

UFC on Fox 9: Johnson vs. Benavidez 2 was a mixed martial arts event held on December 14, 2013, at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California. The main event was a rematch for the Flyweight title between Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez. Co-featured on the card was a bout between top bantamweight contenders Urijah Faber and Michael McDonald.

UFC Fight Night 24: Nogueira vs. Davis was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on March 26, 2011 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. Dana White alerted followers on Twitter that Tito Ortiz had to pull out of his fight with Antônio Rogério Nogueira, after receiving a severe cut on his forehead, and would be replaced by Phil Davis.

WEC 52: Faber vs. Mizugaki was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting on November 11, 2010 at The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bellator 191: McDonald vs. Ligier took place on December 15, 2017 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England. The event aired on tape dealy in prime time on Spike TV. Background The main event featured the Bellator debut of former World Extreme Cagefighting and Ultimate Fighting Championship bantamweight contender Michael McDonald. The event was a co-promotion between Bellator MMA and BAMMA 33.

Bellator 202: Budd vs. Nogueira took place on July 13, 2018 at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The event aired live in prime time on Paramount Network. Originally Stephanie Geltmacher was scheduled to face Deborah Kouzmin. However, on the week of the event Kouzmin announced that she was injured. Bellator could not find a replacement for Geltmacher in time for the event.

UFC 130: Rampage vs. Hamill was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on May 28, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC Fight Night 91: McDonald vs. Lineker was a mixed martial arts event held on July 13, 2016 at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

It was the twelfth K-1 World Grand Prix final, involving twelve of the world's best K-1 fighters (four being reservists) from eight countries, with all bouts fought under K-1 Rules (100 kg/156-220 lbs). The tournament qualifiers had almost all qualified via the K-1 World Grand Prix 2004 Final Elimination with the exception of Remy Bonjasky who was the reigning champion.

UFC 195: Lawler vs. Condit was a mixed martial arts event held on January 2, 2016 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

'Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 2: A New Era' was a bare-knuckle fighting event held by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship on August 25, 2018 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA. This event featured the semi-final of a 8-Man Heavyweight Tournament. The inaugural Police Gazette Women's Featherweight champion, Bec Rawlings, was awarded this title by the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame 3 days after her win over Alma Garcia at BKFC 1, making her fight with Britain Hart her first title defense.

UFC on Fuel TV 7: Barao vs. McDonald was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on February 16, 2013 at the Wembley Arena in London, United Kingdom.
