The film tells the story of complex love relationships in a family. Nazım, a pharmacist, neglects his wife Şahizer because of his addiction to nightlife. Nazım's nephew İskender is upset about his aunt's situation. But he likes Semra, who dances at the club he goes to for the first time, and he sleeps with her. Semra is also the husband of neighbor girl Mübeccel and the mistress of theater actor Turhan. A man who works as a teacher in Istanbul is exiled to a village in Kastamonu. The teacher first repairs the dilapidated school in the village with the help of the villagers. He quickly wins the affection of the students and villagers. He also begins to address the village's other needs. He does everything he can to help the village develop. However, this causes the village headman, who has been exploiting the village for years, to lose favor. The headman will try to hinder the teacher in order to regain his power.

Metin, the son of factory owner Keramet Bey, attends a private college. Since his father is one of the founders of the college, he behaves as he pleases.
