He, on the other hand, is finding it hard to pay the monthly rent. Notwithstanding their differences in lifestyle and personality, and their interfering offspring and neighbors, they eventually fall in love.

The film’s soundtrack features some of Israeli pop and rock’s most memorable tunes of the 20th century, including The High Windows’ First Love (‘ahava rishona’), Matti Caspi’s After You’ve Gone (And You) (‘acharei shenasat – ve’otach’), and Gazoz’s She’ll Never Know (‘hi lo teda’).
