One day, to his surprise, he finds a baby. Slootkant takes the baby to his mother, who happens to desperately want a grandchild from her unmarried son. They both assume that the child was a junkie's, but when Child Protection is alerted, it turns out the baby has very decent parents. The baby's older brother, meanwhile, feels neglected because of all the panic over the little one.

Dokter Vogel is a short surrealist film with computer animations and special effects in which a boy comes round too soon after a tonsillectomy and mistakes the throat specialist for a cacodemon from his narcosis dream.

Two ten-year-old girls go to a subtropical swimming paradise. They look forward to the wave pool and the chute, but are distracted by other, older swimmers. Like teenage girls with real breasts in the bubble bath, and big boys blocking the chute or taking their goggles. The little girls gradually seem to realise the days of their carefree childhood are numbered.

In 1959 she took her two boys and left for Marnhac, a deserted village in southern France. After living in France for the the next 35 years both brothers have become almost fully alienated from society. They don't have the courage to leave their very aged and dominant mother.
