Out of the Unknown is a British television science fiction anthology drama series, produced by the BBC and broadcast on BBC2 in four series between 1965 and 1971. Each episode was a dramatisation of a science fiction short story; some were created for the series, but most were adaptations of already published stories. The first three years were exclusively science fiction, but that genre was abandoned in the final year in favour of horror and fantasy. A number of episodes were wiped during the early 1970s, as was standard procedure at the time.
Seth is an ex-con who desires one thing: revenge upon the abusive guard who tortured him in prison. Hollis is a guard who believes he properly delivers 'God's justice.' Now exonerated, Seth confronts Hollis at a remote diner all the while experiencing harrowing flashbacks from Hollis' treatment. His plan: to execute Hollis at the very time he himself was sentenced to die. As the minutes pass, Seth's purpose, his motives, sense of self, even his reality will be drawn into question. One thing is certain - someone will die when the deadline comes.
Nick gets his girls the same way he gets his music: online. On a first date, Eva invites him to an exclusive filesharing community called ‘The Lionshare’. From there, Nick’s own creative frustration fuels his consumption of pirated music and other media while he produces nothing of his own. Eventually, he finds inspiration in the unlikeliest of places.
When Sally moves to London to pursue a modelling career, she moves in with Angela and Dee and discovers the world of the carefree bachelor girl in Swinging London. Over one weekend - filled with parties, blossoming friendships, and romantic encounters with Keith and Nikko (Klaus Kinski) - the vivacious girls learn about life's pleasures and pains.
