Rome, late 1980s, Leopardi Classical High School. This is where the various protagonists of the series meet and experience the epic, hilarious exploits of their classmates in 3C, the most outgoing high school students of the entire school year. Bruno Sacchi, a shy, rather plump boy, often awkward but with a big heart. Chicco Lazzaretti, the classic, tireless repeater, obsessed with school and his classmates, always ready to answer teachers in funny ways to distract his classmates. Of course, Daniele and Rossella, typical sweethearts who have grown up together since childhood, are also present, along with the beautiful, blonde Sharon Zampetti, desired by everyone.

The renowned Insurance International Co. has created an enquiry network, headed by detective Jack Clementi, to defend itself against insurance fraud. A series of random suicides in Rome, Italy are attributed to a heatwave, but a young pathologist named Simona—who is working on a thesis about murders disguised as suicides—suspects otherwise. When a young girl associated with Simona's playboy father ends up dead in another apparent suicide, Simona teams up with the girl's priest brother to prove she was murdered and track down the unknown serial killer.

Bruno Fioretti, known as "Mandrake", is an inveterate gambler who never misses a day at the horse racing track in Rome. But at one point he is involved with the kidnapping of a woman.

After a hard day at work and a condominium-board meeting, accountant Ugo Fantozzi goes on a trip with his family. Unfortunately, he will face a nasty surprise upon his return.

A stories of three really unlucky characters are discovered during the trial.

Lorenzo is the mayor of a small town. One evening, returning home, surprised the well-known playboy Ghigo Buccilli who tries to seduce his beautiful wife. Enraged, he threatens the two with a gun, and Buccilli is the victim of a heart attack: the man survives but, forced to total rest, remains at the mayor's house. The result is an endless series of gags and misunderstandings, due to the stratagems devised by Lorenzo to avoid that the situation becomes the subject of gossip by fellow citizens ...
