Salserín, la primera vez, candidly recounts a story of teenage love framed in the genesis of a salsa band that was once a musical phenomenon in the mid-nineties.

In the shantytowns of Caracas, teenage Aixa finds herself unexpectedly pregnant and trapped between conflicting forces: her grandmother Carmen, young yet matriarchal head of the sprawling family clan, desperately tries to prevent Aixa from repeating the cycle of teenage motherhood that has plagued the women in her house for generations; meanwhile Ramon, the drug-linked young father, more obsessed with the idea of a child than with responsibility, resorts to threats—“If you get rid of the baby, I’ll kill you”—to impose his will. All around Aixa, others believe they know what’s best for her—but the choice of life or death, hope or despair, remains hers alone in a world where survival is the only certainty.

During a bus ride through the Andes, two seminarians encounter with a woman named Manon. Immediately, one of them falls in love and the attraction is mutual, so they decide to flee to capital city to start a new life. But the love of Manon ambitious drags this man to leave his vocation and commit criminal acts to maintain a life of luxury and extravagance.

Fernando, lives in the heart of Barcelona's Chinatown, which seeks life peddling amphetamines and alternating with a peculiar gallery sinister characters. In one of those sunrises stolen life, Fernando meet Elsa, a young teenager, fresh and lively, with a passionate and self-destructive personality who unwittingly become the most addictive. Together they try to survive in a shadowy villain and Barcelona at the end of the day is taken by the renegades of society and their particular codes.

It tells the story of Valeriano and Cañete, two marked characters that complement and feed each other in a unique scenario, the Compostela of the fifties. The dismantling of the old Royal Hospital to transform it into a luxury hotel fills the streets of Santiago de Compostela with the sick, perpetual pilgrims and the poor. It happens that the night is black, like the future, like the hearts of men, like the country, and it becomes long, very long. Thus, a night of peaceful wandering turns into a mad race for survival of two strangers, friends in pain, who, unable to change the world, no matter how hard they try, struggle, at least, and with all their strength, to see it again tomorrow.
