After a head injury, an immigrant teenager's broken Italian accent turns into a suave George Clooney-like American accent. Will he finally overcome language barriers and social anxieties, or will he succumb to the identity crisis the doctor warned him about?

Catania, 1960s. At the beach resort run by the charming Rozzo Finocchiaro, Stefano, a blind elderly man, observes and comments with ironic and acerbic commentary on the behavior of the people who frequent the beach and whose lives are intertwined. Passing under his scrutiny are the industrialist Alfredo Condorelli—married to the wealthy Maria Rita and engaged in a clandestine affair with his secretary Rosalba—the stifling Rosa—wife of the former playboy Alfredo—the four bigwigs Roberto, Michele, Armando, and Rocco; the musician Gregorio Alacci; the fallen boss Jano Suarez; the Lanzafame family; and Peppino Di Paternò—a fifty-year-old married to the statuesque Ulla.

This is the first feature film about the life of a hand (named Handy). After a lifetime spent with its owner (a bad writer) Handy decides to detach from the human body in order to prove that a stand alone hand can be the best writer ever...but the consequences of this action are going to affect all the other hands in the world...

Giulio, a young man from Sicily, arrives in Rome to trace back Aurora, his ex-girlfriend whom he cannot forget. He stays with a couple of family friends, Rosalia and Eugenio, who have lost their only son, Nello, of the same age as Giulio. The presence of Giulio in their house forces Rosalia and Eugenio to come out of their long period of mourning, but at the same time Giulio, realizing that he will probably never find Aurora, starts sinking into a depressive state fueled by drinks and drugs. Rosalia and Eugenio's efforts to get Giulio out of it are in vain and when Giulio finally meets Aurora by accident, things can only get worse.

According to an ancient legend of the Sicilian tradition, the Natives are a lineage of fascinating women endowed with extraordinary powers, whose spirits manage to separate from their bodies to torment and ruin the lives of the unfortunate victims of the moment. The one who feels persecuted by a Native is Michela, a young doctor who, after returning to her small hometown on the slopes of Etna, witnesses a progressive derailment of her professional and emotional life. Paranoid and suspicious of everyone, Michela needs to identify who her enemy is among the many women around her and face her head on before it's too late.
