Synopsis
The background noise in a hospital: loud footsteps, ventilation noise, ventilators, constant beeping of medical equipment and above all: whirring discomfort. A stirring and touching short film from Argentina tells the story of trans girl Amado Mariana. In a hospital surgery, she is subjected to a rigorous questionnaire about various aspects of her life, such as any prison stays or sexual activity. Only at the end does it become clear why this is a film about a long, tragic family history.
