Synopsis
12 year-old Madeline is funny, feisty, cheeky, desperately in love and deaf. She must overcome her insecurities and the isolation of rural Australia in order to ask her neighbour to the annual regional dance. As it draws closer, Madeline is forced to take drastic action, leading to near devastating consequences.
