Synopsis
Night shrouds the Eiffel Tower's splendor, sweet chansons lose their melody, Midnight Paris loses its romance, the pillow becomes a violent ambush. In France, one in seven women has experienced violence at the hands of a partner. The director listens to the monologues of three women, exploring love that cannot be fulfilled, enduring physical and emotional torment over years, intimacy that remains forever out of reach. Weariness, helplessness, and hatred etch themselves onto their faces. The film plunges into the nightmare of intimate relationships while capturing faint glimmers of light.
