Synopsis
The story of a grieving man named Matt. He tries to push through the drudgery and brain fog of another morning by forcing himself to check off items on a to-do list. Tasks include: taking his new pills, choosing happiness and getting out of his apartment for a change. He makes his way to a sunny park where he meets an effervescent stranger - Debbie. Conversation comes easy to them, and they spend the day chatting like old friends. As evening falls, she insists that he walk her home and even invites him in. Overwhelmed, he hesitates. Matt watches her enter the building, and as the light in her window comes on, he gathers his courage and decides to follow. Finding the door to her apartment ajar, he cautiously enters to find the place eerily familiar. Now, sinister, Debbie emerges from the shadows and offers him a dark invitation that leaves Matt with an even darker decision to make.
