Synopsis
Illness strikes; Jan and his mother's life is changed forever. Eight-year-old Jan spends his weekend making sure his mother can get through each day as smoothly as possible. Innocence colours his every action. Guilt consumes hers. Echoes of normality try to seep through from the outside; their neighbours reminding them of what life used to be. Jan and his mother's story is a powerful and heartrending portrait of life for young carers and their parents, as they learn to let go of what they once knew
