Synopsis
11 year old Juniper a lonely, nature loving child who spends her days roaming the Utah desert. When her mom tells her they’re moving away, she decides to run away . Her plan is to trek across the desert to California where she will meet her crush, 80’s heart throb Mackenzie Astin, from the tv show Facts of Life. But after getting lost in the desert she’ll confront the fragile boundaries between childhood innocence and growing up. Mackenzie is based on true story. A film of memories and reflection about the fragile moments of childhood.
