Synopsis
REFO ALPHA RAMADHAN (28), a young musician known by his stage name Refo dan Fauna, is in the midst of creating a new album. Following the release of several viral singles and his debut album, Refo is eager to assert his presence within Indonesia’s music industry. Yet amidst the industry’s pressure to be serious and marketable, he chooses a different path— embracing humor, absurdity, and eccentric ideas in his songwriting. As a statement that creativity does not have to follow a single formula, the documentary observes Refo’s creative process as he develops his upcoming songs, leading up to an intimate preview at an exclusive listening party with close friends.
