Synopsis
In Asia, migrant workers move between different countries. They live with their employers, and their close relationships with their employers form a mixed picture of Asian countries. Ani, a young Indonesian woman, comes to Taiwan to work as an in-home caregiver for a wheelchair-bound elderly patient who lives alone. In this small town, the patient’s family and friends come to see him and gradually, Ani learns about the family’s secrets. One evening, an unexpected visitor arrives, stirring up the emotions the family buried in their hearts.
