Synopsis
Produced by the staff of the Film and Television Institute of India under the supervision of Ritwik Ghatak, Nagarik Sanrakshan is a rare and historically significant instructional film made in 1965 in the Marathi language. It offers practical guidance on the correct and incorrect methods of individual protection during an air raid by enemy bombers—a subject of urgent national concern in the context of the geopolitical tensions of the mid-1960s.
