Synopsis
Sarah, a psychiatry resident, seeks help from renowned therapist Dr. Angela Strong after being abused and betrayed by her powerful mentor, Dr. Elizabeth Murray. Sarah fears no one will believe her because of Murray’s influence at Kelly University. During the session, Angela is shaken—she once suffered the same abuse from Murray and has spent decades trying to bury the trauma. As Sarah’s story unfolds, Angela is forced to confront her past and the realization that the cycle is repeating. Supporting Sarah becomes more than therapy: Angela must choose between staying silent or finally exposing Murray and protecting others. Together, both women face their pain and attempt to break the chain of abuse.
