Synopsis
In the Otomi worldview (an ethnic group from central Mexico), corn, or the wise seed, fell in the form of drops to fertilize the world. Their agricultural activity marks the ceremonial cycles. As an offering and expression of gratitude, tortillas are prepared and dyed with the natural dye of the muicle plant.
