Tom Ward: Choose Your Delusion
Synopsis
Tom swore he’d never have kids. That didn’t work out. But what a time to do it! Climate change, reality collapse, performative ideology, narcissism and hyper consumption. At least the kid’s poems are going to be multi-layered. Ward takes us on the journey becoming a dad has been taking him, re-tracing his own childhood and teenage years with fundamentalist Christian parents, how he used action films to build his image of masculinity and how to feel about bringing a child into a world you’ve been saying “we’re f**ked!” since he was 7.
