Synopsis
First instalment of the dzaomalaza films whose action is located in the north of Madagascar.
Saga: Dzaomalaza

Dzaomalaza goes in search of a unique sapphire in Southern Madagascar in order to enrich himself. But three women are in his path: Evah wants to hand over the sapphire, Masy wants wealth and power and Revol wants to improve the fate of the entire community.
Dzaomalaza and the Blue Sapphire

Dzaomalaza arrives in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. He wants to earn an honest living with his talent: music. But he doesn't know what to expect in the "City of a Thousand". There he meets a girl who does not bear her name: Nambinina (the lucky one) who suffers from many of the ills of today's urban youth. The film weaves itself through the differences in perspectives between the main characters. This third installement which takes place, this time, in the urban context of Antananarivo, strongly marked by the 2009 crisis. More than a film, Dzaomalaza is also an advocacy tool in favor of Malagasy youth.
