Synopsis
A lost boy in inner turmoil looks for direction on a remote island and encounters a person, who left him a long time ago. A zero budget mumblecore film improvised on the Isle of Skye. About manhood and overcoming generational trauma. "I Came Up Here To Clear My Head" was an improsived shoot on the Isle of Skye with 0 budget, no real crew, the help of our village and our Scottish Timothee Chalamet: upcoming actor Stephen McMillan (Boiling Point). The monologue was written by Tiggy Bayley (who won B3 with her short "Tildypops"). It premiered at the BIFA qualifying Brighton Rocks Intl Film Festival end of June 2024.
