Synopsis
Italy, 1944, Montecassino. An English rifleman escapes death after a battle against a German platoon. Waking up surrounded by the corpses of his fellow soldiers, he finds himself just a few steps away from a group of enemy soldiers patrolling the battlefield. Thus begins his attempt to escape, which leads him to be a spectator of the war, but in reaching safety, he inevitably becomes a protagonist.
