Hard Times
Synopsis
This film tells the story of the three years and eight months that the colonial forces of the Japanese Empire occupied Singapore and Malaysia. The nightmare brought to the Chinese immigrants in Singapore and Malaysia did not stop with the end of World War II, and the physical and mental trauma caused by the war lingered in the remaining memories of the Chinese immigrants.
