Synopsis
“Welcome to Maracanã" is a documentary about the transformation over the last 20 years of the world-famous soccer stadium: Maracanã, once the largest stadium on the planet. Through the eyes of Enéas de Andrade, the man who carried injured players onto the soccer field, we see how public policies and major sporting events, such as the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics, have changed the way Brazilians experience soccer games.
