Alors qu'ils sont en vacances dans le Sud-Ouest, Rae découvre que son homme Michael a dépensé l'argent de leur maison pour une voiture classique, alors elle l'abandonne, faisant du stop à Las Vegas pour un vol de retour. Un enfant vole rapidement la voiture de Michael, le laissant au Zip & Sip, un dépanneur. Trois voleurs maladroits mettent rapidement en place une retenue.
