Synopsis
An ode to an important figure of São Paulo ́s intellectual life in the 20th century Jacó Guinsburg (1921-2018). Focusing on his many personas —the writer, the poet, the professor, the editor, and the translator—, the documentary brings to surface memories of Jaco’s friendship with intellectuals such as Anatol Rosenfeld, Décio de Almeida Prado and Sábato Magaldi. The film structure is based on an interview made with Jacó before his passing, archive material belonging to his family as well as photos from such characters which were part of his history.
