Bizim Hoca: Sıkıntı Yok

After the delay of an official imam sent to a little village, the villagers try to find an imam to lead them during pray. After discussions, they decide to make "Bizum Hoca" (Our hodja) the imam of village, a villager loved and respected by everyone, though he is not an official one. Hodja, a different man from stereotype imams, also wants to change some bad habits villagers have. Meanwhile, the construction of one of the hydroelectric power plants (HPP) causing intense discussions in the region, next to a river flowing through the village, becomes a hot issue on the village's agenda. The villagers are against this construction and the fight begins. "Bizum Hoca" finds himself leading the villagers who started the protests.

This is the Black Sea, where love, hate, joy, and passion are experienced in the most absurd way. The efforts of women, each of whom is a stubborn goat, to bring men to their knees, and the efforts of men to besiege women and break their resistance.

Bizum Hoca is a Black Sea native who, despite not completing his education, is self-taught. He learned everything he knows about religious scholarship from his father, Ahmet Fevzi Hoca, an Islamic scholar. After losing his wife Makbule, Bizum Hoca has not let anyone into his life and is a person whom everyone consults for advice. A cheerful and jovial individual, the teacher also focuses on the spirituality of the Islamic faith. He teaches his congregation that being a moral and conscientious person is as important and universal a value as worship. However, there are those in the congregation who do not agree with what Bizum Hoca says.
